Shahla Nikpour is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Phoenix Thriving Therapy. Shahla is passionate about her work with men and women who are coping and healing from abusive relationships.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF & SHARE WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Shahla. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that holds active licenses in the states of Arizona, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. I have two Master’s Degrees, am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and hold a second Master’s in Clinical Social Work. I have over a decade experience of working with domestic violence survivors, supporting children, adolescents, and adults with recovery from complex post traumatic disorder. Most importantly, I am a survivor of Narcissistic Abuse and I understand the complex nuisances of this epidemic. I have lived through narcissistic abuse and I get it!

WHAT DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?

I specialize in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, toxic relational stress in families, and anxiety in young adults.

WHO DO YOU SERVE IN YOUR PRACTICE? WHAT IS THE TRANSFORMATION YOUR CLIENTS EXPERIENCE IN YOUR WORK TOGETHER?

I help men and women cope and heal from toxic relational stress and narcissistic abuse. I also work with young adults that are dealing with anxiety. My approach is always about gathering your resiliency and learning to grow it and getting clients to embody their empowerment!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING WITH CLIENTS OR THE PROCESS OF THERAPY?

My favorite part of working with my clients is listening to their stories and understanding their passions. I feel humbled that they feel safe enough to share these stories with me.
